I chose the off white as it goes with more of my clothing than the other colors offered here. This works quite well with our without the detachable chain. It is actually quite well made, is soft to the touch and simply "feels" right.I normally try to avoid "dressing up" as much as possible but because of my position find that there are events I cannot talk my way out of, ergo...this bag. I don't consider myself a `purse person' but I recently realized I had far more than I thought I had and also find that I tend to grab this one more than most of the others. This is a quality purse. Wish it were made here in the U.S. though, rather than China.
