As a teenager I cringed when my mom (yes, we were in an economic bind, but I've come to realize if she'd cared, even she could have had quality handbags; she didn't care) when my mom bought synthetic purses. My first handbag as an adult was Coach. This was before they went inside the glass cases in department stores; this was 40 years ago. Decades have passed, and I've tried (even thought I've succeeded) to make good purchases. My purchase of this Sorial bag gave me a whole new perspective. I knew from the moment I opened the box I was in love. But it was when I walked into a Coach store and (not one, two) three different sales women approached me asking me about my bag. Same thing at Nordstrom. Strangers on the street. This bag is beautifully made and made to last. I just this past weekend "passed the torch" (so to speak) to a new Kooba.
