I got a lot of compliments at the wedding. I am apple shaped and this dress was about as flattering as I could find. It was cool to wear and comfortable. I ordered a size up from reviews I read on another website and actually needed the extra to make it not so tight as the fabric has no give in it. I found it to be too big (sleeves, bust and waist too low) so I used the pleats in the front as a guide and pulled the shoulder down, adding an extra pleat (making the waist,bust and sleeves come up higher). It was an easy repair and solved the fitment issues. If I had more time, I may have just ordered my exact size and hoped not to have to sew, but I figured I could always take it in but couldn't add.In the end, I loved the dress and it was the best thing I could find to meet my needs.
